If your stag do is on the horizon then there’s a good chance someone’s mentioned the word ‘theme’ to you, alongside suggestions of fancy dress and epic pranks. Now here’s a different angle … masks. One word .. genius! Talk about getting your game face on, well gents this is getting your stag face on, so no half measures here please.
What theme to go with though? Have a scan through all the hilarious masks available and decide which face fits, taking into account where you’re going and what activities and entertainment the weekend’s going to offer (probably not a good idea to get an extra large mask if you’re off target shooting.) You can even get a personal one made up of the groom or dare we say it the blushing bride or even … the mother-in-law!
There are legends, Royals, celebrities and even Olympians! By Jiminy you could even form your own Olympic squad! Fancy being Bradley Wiggins anyone? Decide who gets to be Ryan Giggs and Usain Bolt then get the stag into a blonde Rebecca Adlington mask for the night (daytime too if you can get away with it.) Host your own unusual version of the masked Olympics with some broomball, dodgeball (that’s got to be a winner), beer keg racing and blo karting.
Also perfect if you’re heading out for a London stag do, get the lads into some masks fit for royals- have a night partying as Prince Harry and Camilla-Parker Bowles or get the stag and best-man kitted out as Prince William and Kate Middleton.
An unusual stag do idea for those of you that want something a bit out of the ordinary is a Thunderbirds theme - you and the boys can get the whole range (including petite Lady Penelope) and when it’s time to bust a move ‘in da club’ you’ll be able to get away with terrible dancing under a Thunderbirds Hood Mask. Beautiful.
How about dressing as the cheery groom-to-be, face and all? Get a personalised mask of the man himself, perhaps even photoshopped to accentuate his features, poor lamb. This could equal some larger-than-life memories, especially if you get some pictures of demanding group activities like white water rafting or 5-a-side football.
